7/24 we went to Fu-Long beach

7 / 24 we made an appointment to go to Fu-Long beach to play that day because we rented a small bus and didn’t has enough the seat, so I take the train to go with Durant. But we still did not have a seat that we had to stand two hours and a half just to Fu-Long Station. I feel some tire when we arrival Fu-long. Then we rented the bike and rode to the tunnel. Tunnel is very long and cool, that I had been riding bike on the tunnel feel like forever. When we rode to another export which had heavy rain and then we rode back to the original export only light rain. It is a great contrast.

Then we eat seafood, we were so hungry that meals were finished. Next schedule was to the beach, but that day was during heavy rain. But I thought it was not bad, because playing water would have been wet clothes. It had big waves that day if I could rent a surfboard, it will much the better.

We ate dinner the Fu-Long famous Train Lunchbox. As hungry, so I bought two lunchboxes that one is very cheap just only 55 NT dollars. We had to take the train on 7:00pm and end a fun day.

7/22 We Visited to San Ho Paper & Carton Company

 7 / 22 afternoon, we visited San Ho Paper &Carton Company. First thought is a little bit older company, but after listening to their introduction, I found that size of the company is not small, and a wide operating range. San HO Paper Company manufacture paper boxes for major customers, or to help customers picks the goods from the China then repackaging and shipping to store. San HO Company has won numerous awards.

When I visited their company's factory, which is very hot. From materials, HOT plates-Curing and pressuring, Printing and assembly that San Ho need more people in the production line than the morning to see the King Car companies. It has R & D department to design the box to do different tests that increase the company's quality and competitiveness. After visiting that I feel not only the traditional paper box company, but also is the packaging company. San HO Company give the best service to their customers.

7/22 We Visited to King Car

7 / 22 in the morning, we visited is located in Chungli King Car. King Car started from the Zhi-Cheng pharmaceutical companies which sells environmental agents, such as: pesticides. After the switch to investment in the beverage industry, the establishment of King Car has branched out into the biotechnology industry. We visited the factory covers an area of very large, and responsible for producing Mr.Brown coffee, Pocari Sweat ... and so on.

We went to visit production line of Pocari Sweat and Mr.Brown coffee. From materials to packing, the whole process is very quick, clean and neat. But the machine generate very loud voice, employee need to wear earplugs to work long hours.

In the past I had the impression that King Car is selling Root SARS. I did not expect Pocari Sweat, Mr.Brown coffee, Ka Ma Lan whiskey ... and so is King Car production. Today's visiting King Car for me to change my impression.

Night of KTV

Tonight, we took them to Taiwan’s KTV to sing a song; they don’t have KTV experience, because in the Western Country, there is no KTV.

They were so excited, sung a lot of American popular song, such as Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” and Mchael Jckson’s “Beat it”, they were singing and dancing, and the atmosphere was so bustling. 

I think they really love KTV, maybe I should go to American to operate KTV, expand the Taiwan’s culture, and bring more fun for more people.

We Played Volleyball

I often play volleyball in my University time. Now, I rarely exercise after studying in graduate school. We played volleyball in the afternoon, but I had long time didn’t play volleyball. My physical strength consumption was also extremely fast and feel my skill rusty. Physical strength of foreign student is really good. After this time I need to come more exercise and get back before the physical strength. We played volleyball really interesting.

7/15 I had in class

Today I heard the presentation of Ari and Ankit that topic is Design-driven innovation. Each company will be looking to create brand, the brand can create value for the company. Design-driven design for the customer to meet their demands, radical new meaning, and create new business market. They gave some examples of why people buy the expensive Apple computer?

Each product has a meaning, and I think LV is not a good look at the pattern, but a lot of people want to buy LV? I think it was that the value of the brand gives us a image of rich, and someone buy a LV to reward himself.  Products of LV are durable, but the LV is most important is to create brand value in itself, although I still feel not good look.

7/14 Hsin-Chu Science Park

Hsin-Chu City is my hometown. When I was a child my parent usually took me to the Jinshan Temple which is in Science Park. After heard the report of the Hsin-Chu Science Park, Taiwan has many different industries around the different park. Hsin-Chu Science Park is well known and established in long time, and Hi-Technology is key industries in Taiwan. Government takes care of high-tech personnel and does a lot of planning, such as home environment, children, employment, living and entertainment ... etc. The Government also helps to link the overseas company.

Lap around the park by bus, there are many companies, TSMC, UMC, AUO ... etc. Among them the largest TSMC and the area is very wide that Rick feels very interested.

I saw many the early motherboards and hard disks in Science Park Exploration Museum. I can’t help but miss when I was a child to use K7 host age. In Science Park Exploration Museum, there are display many products that was made by science park of companies. Technology product is very interesting, among which I am more interested in Amazon EBOOK, and I want to buy one.

Trip of Tamshui

After the end of visiting the Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation, we take the MRT to the Tamshui. Tamshui Old Street is famous, and the products of Chinese culture is very attractive Rick, Ankit, Paulina whom bought a fan and chopsticks. Today is very hot and they bought a fan that I think the fan is very useful.

 We took Rick and Ankit Po plum juice drink, but Rick seems to drink a little and feel uncomfortable. Later to a shop of selling products from Taiwan, Rick had bought some postcards that he want to sent to his friend. After walking some distance, we went to the Red House which is a historical monument, and now converted into restaurants. Here can to see the beautiful views of the Tamsui River from the Red House.

We took the bus to Fisherman's Wharf, and across the Valentine's bridge to take a break and enjoy the beautiful sunset. Then we take the boat back to Tamsui Old Street for dinner. At this moment, I had been tired and just want to go home.

Business Camp Opening Ceremony

7/12, I got up so early and went to Tzu Chiang Building 107 that I had to prepared for layout of the restaurant. Then, this is my first time to join like this camp with foreign students, but my English language is so poor that maybe it is a big challenge to me. After all, I found everybody is very nice even I used body language that they will be known. I set nearby Rick, he is a good man and Dora said Rick and I look like brother. So Dora, Rick, Rita and I are in the same team, I think we will have the good time in this day.

Body language is very useful.

Taipei MRT

Speaker introduced Taipei with MRT. Taipei's traffic can be enough to facilitate after Taipei has MRT. Not just a means of transport, rapid transit has been integrated into the daily lives. It’s very easy to use EZ card with taking MRT or small payments. Inside the station is very clean, and rapid transit line is also very rich in tourist attractions to go to what has become very convenient. MRT control center is very cool, real-time monitoring on each train and MRT stations in the state to immediate response and measures.
